The Annual Congress on «New Designs for the Market Economy» will take place on June 26-27, 2025 at KOF ETH Zurich with keynote lectures by Gianmarco Ottaviano (Bocconi), Evi Pappa (Universidad Carlos III), and Reinhilde Veugelers (KU Leuven).

Young Swiss Economists Meeting 2025

The Young Swiss Economists Meeting (YSEM) is an opportunity for PhD students and Postdocs to present their work, exchange ideas, and network with peers and established economists. The next meeting will take place on February 13-14, 2025 at ETH Zurich centre campus.

2024 Awards

The 2024 Economic Journalism Award goes to Fabio Canetg, the 2024 SSES Young Economist Award to Patrick Bigler and Benedikt Janzen, and the 2024 SJES Best Paper Award to Fabienne Helfer, Volker Grossmann and Aderonke Osikominu.
