Welcome to the 2022 Congress of the SSES, June 23-24, 2022

The Department of Economics of the University of Fribourg is proud to host the 2022 Annual Congress of the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics (SSES/SGVS) on June 23 (Thursday) and June 24 (Friday), 2022.

The 2022 SSES annual congress will include thematic sessions on

Social media and its challenges for economic policy

and for the meeting's general sessions (on any topic relevant to all fields of economics and statistics).

Keynote speeches will be delivered by Pinar Yildirim (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania), Ruben Durante (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Andrea Prat (Columbia University).

Authors are invited to submit their preliminary or complete papers electronically (PDF files only) to: https://www.sgvs.ch/conferences/sses2022.

Submission deadline: extended to February 15, 2022.

Call for Papers

The submitting authors will be notified of the Programme Committee's decision by April 13, 2022. Registration opens on April 13 and early bird registration ends on May 1, 2022.

A selection of contributions to the thematic part will be published in a proceedings volume of the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics (http://www.sjes.ch).
