SSES Annual Congress 2023: Thank you!

The Institute of Economic Research at the University of Neuchâtel hosted the annual congress of the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics.

It featured 100 presentations, keynote speeches by Eric Monnet and Scott Taylor, as well as a policy panel with Kathrin Assenmacher (ECB) and Petra Gerlach (SNB) moderated by Fabio Canetg.

In addition Véra Zabrodina was awarded the SSES young economist award for the paper “Timing Moral Hazard under Deductibles in Health Insurance. Mark Dittli received the Economic Journalism Award for his analytical and fact-based coverage of economics and finance in Switzerland.

The organizing committee would like to thank all the presenters, participants, and of course the entire staff for their invaluable contributions.

The next SSES annual congress will take place on 6/7 June 2024 in Lucerne – Save the date!
